株式会社クリーンプラネット（本社：東京都千代田区、代表取締役：吉野英樹、以下「クリーンプラネット」）は、2025年8月1日付で、元環境事務次官（日本製鉄株式会社顧問／公益財団法人三千年の未来会議代表理事）の中井徳太郎氏が顧問に就任したことをお知らせいたします。
クリーンプラネットは、安全・安定・安価クリーンエネルギーである「量子水素エネルギー（Quantum Hydrogen Energy: QHe）」の実用化に取り組むスタートアップ企業です。QHeは、都市ガスをはるかに上回る発熱密度を持ちながら、二酸化炭素（CO2）を一切排出せず、水素の使用量もごくわずか。持続可能な未来を支える、まったく新しい形のエネルギーとして注目されています。

Former Vice-Minister of the Environment and Advisor to Nippon Steel Corporation, Tokutaro Nakai, Joins the Advisory Board of Clean Planet
~ Preparing for the Mass Production of Quantum Hydrogen Energy Heat Modules ~
TOKYO, JAPAN - August 1, 2025 - Clean Planet Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hideki Yoshino) is pleased to announce that Mr. Tokutaro Nakai, former Vice-Minister of the Environment, Executive Advisor to Nippon Steel Corporation, and Representative Director of the Future Millennium Conference, has joined the company as an Advisor effective August 1, 2025.
Clean Planet is a science-based startup working to commercialize Quantum Hydrogen Energy (QHe) - a revolutionary clean energy source that is safe, stable, and affordable. QHe offers a heat density far exceeding that of natural gas, while emitting zero CO2 and requiring only a minimal amount of hydrogen. As such, it is gaining attention as a completely new form of sustainable energy that could power a net-zero future.
Clean Planet is now accelerating the development of its QHe-powered heat modules toward mass production. Having completed successful demonstrations, the company is moving into the phase of real-world deployment. In this critical stage, Mr. Nakai brings unique expertise that bridges public policy and industrial practice - including deep ties with Japan’s manufacturing sector through his advisory role at Nippon Steel. His joining will further strengthen Clean Planet’s ability to advance both regulatory design and mass production in parallel.

Mr. Tokutaro Nakai was born in 1962. Upon graduation from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo in 1985, he joined the Ministry of Finance. He joined the Ministry of the Environment in July 2011 after the Great East Japan Earthquake and became Vice-Minister of the Environment in July 2020. After retiring in July 2022, he has served as an executive advisor to Nippon Steel Corporation and as a representative director of the Millennium Sustainability Foundation.
