京都・東山の御寺、泉涌寺（せんにゅうじ）にある「楊貴妃観音堂」から、ちょっと特別なおみくじが誕生しました。
その名も「お美（み）くじ」。
漢字一文字から“自分らしく美しく生きるヒント”を授かる、新しいスタイルのおみくじです。

泉涌寺に伝わる「楊貴妃観音像」は、約800年前に、中国から伝わった“美の象徴”。
その優美な祈りを現代に伝えるかたちとして生まれたのが、この「お美くじ」です。

「凛」「碧」「綾」など、美しさを表す30種類の漢字の中から、
今のあなたにぴったりの一文字をお届け。
陰陽五行をモチーフにした五色の花びら型カードは、
スマホケースやお財布に入れて持ち歩ける、可愛い“お守りみくじ”です。
“美しい”とは、外見だけでなく、心のあり方や日々の過ごし方そのもの。

At the peaceful Yang Guifei Kannon Doh Hall in Sennyu-ji Temple,
you can draw a special fortune called O-Mikuji - the “Beauty Fortune.”
Each fortune gives you one elegant kanji character,
handwritten by temple monks and filled with a wish for your well-being and beauty
- inside and out.
There are 30 different characters, such as 凛 (Dignity), 綾 (Twill), and 碧 (Jade),
each carrying a message to brighten your everyday life.
The fortunes come on cute, petal-shaped cards in five colors inspired by the Five
Elements of nature.
They’re the perfect size to keep in your wallet or phone case - a little charm for
mindful living.
The cards are bilingual (Japanese & English), so they’re great for kids learning kanji
or travelers looking for a unique Kyoto experience.
