子どもの経験は人生を変える？！― 2025年9月 NPO法人エッセンシャルシード設立 ―

子どもたちが「自分を表現する」瞬間が、確かに人生を変える力を持っている。
2020年から続く活動の中で、子どもたちが「自分を表現する」瞬間が、確かに人生を変える力を持っていると実感してきました。
介護施設や保育園など地域との連携を重ね、映画制作・楽曲制作・イベント・スポーツ大会などを通して、子どもたちが主役になれる場を生み出してきた私たち。
これまでに最大5,000人が集う表現イベントを開催し、5年間子どもたちの笑顔と感動の輪を広げてきました。
そして2025年9月19日、NPO法人 Essential Seed（エッセンシャルシード）を正式に設立。
「世界中の笑顔を育てる」を理念に、すべての子どもが自由に表現し、地域や世代を超えてつながる社会を目指します。

コロナ禍をきっかけに、子どもたちが「表現する場」や「地域とのつながり」を失う状況が増えました。
同時に、社会全体で子どもたちの声を受け止め、育てていく環境づくりの重要性が高まっています。
エッセンシャルシードは、スポーツ・アート・福祉・教育を通して、地域と世界が共に子どもを育てる新しいモデルを実現するために誕生しました。
・ 2020年より活動を開始し、延べ15,000人以上の子ども・保護者が参加
・ 地域の介護施設・保育園・学校と連携し、世代を超えた交流を実現
・ 自主制作映画・ダンスイベント・スポーツ大会など多様な表現機会を提供
・ 毎年野外イベントを開催し、地域と世界の笑顔をつなぐ
NPO法人としての第一歩となるイベント
「世界とつながる子どもフェス」 を
2025年11月23日・24日に大阪府堺市のくら寿司スタジアム堺で開催予定。
野球の国際親善試合 × ダンスバトル × ダンスショーが融合するこのフェスでは、
子どもたちが国や世代を超えて出会い、自分の好きを通じて未来の可能性を見つけます。
参加した子どもたちが新たな挑戦へと歩み出す姿が、次の社会の希望となっていきます。

FREEMOVE（フリームーブ）
～自由な身体表現・誰もが参加できるフィールド～
スポーツやダンスなどの多彩なコンテンツを通じ、子どもたちが「自由に動く喜び」を感じる体験事業。
KIDSCENE（キッズシーン）
～子どもたちの瞬間を未来へ残す 映像・記録事業～
日常やイベントで生まれる感動のシーンを映像記録し、家族・地域・支援者と共有するアーカイブプロジェクト。
KIDSTAGE（キッズテージ）
～すべての子どもが主役になるステージ～
音楽・ダンス・アート・パフォーマンスなどを通して、自信とつながりを育む表現イベント。
年齢や環境に関わらず、全員が主役に。
MOTHEbase（マザーベース）
～母としてのつながりと安心の基地（ベース）をつくる～
子育ての孤立を防ぎ、親も子どもも安心して過ごせる「心の基地」を地域に広げる共育・福祉プロジェクト。
今後は、子どもたちの体験や映像記録をもとに地域の活性化を中心にし、
国内外の学校・団体・地域・企業と連携した国際交流プロジェクトを展開予定です。
地域から世界へ、子どもたちから繋がる笑顔の連鎖を広げていくことを目指します。

Can a Child’s Experience Change Their Life?
- Establishment of NPO “Essential Seed” -
Since 2020, we have been witnessing how a single moment of “self-expression” can truly change children’s lives.
Through film and music production, community events, and sports festivals in collaboration with local care facilities and preschools, we have created spaces where every child can take center stage.
Over the past five years, we have held large-scale expression events that gathered up to 5,000 participants, expanding circles of smiles and inspiration across communities.
On September 19, 2025, we officially established the Non-Profit Organization Essential Seed,
with the vision of “Nurturing smiles around the world.”
Our goal is to build a society where every child can express themselves freely and connect beyond generations, borders, and differences.
The COVID-19 pandemic led to the loss of opportunities for children to express themselves and connect with their communities.
At the same time, society began to recognize the growing need to create environments where children’s voices can be heard, nurtured, and celebrated.
Essential Seed was founded to realize a new community model which sports, art, welfare, and education come together-
creating a world in which local communities and the global society raise children together.
・ Over 15,000 children and parents have participated in our programs since 2020.
・ Collaborations with local care facilities, preschools, and schools have fostered intergenerational and cross-cultural connections.
・ Produced independent films, dance events, and sports festivals offering diverse opportunities for creative expression.
・ Hosted annual outdoor events connecting smiles between local communities and the world.
As our first event as a newly established NPO,
“World Kids Connection Festival” will be held on November 23-24, 2025,
at Kura Sushi Stadium (Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture).
Combining an international baseball friendship match, dance battles, and dance showcases,
the festival will connect children across nations and generations.
Through their passions and expressions, they will discover new possibilities for their future-
becoming a source of hope for the society to come.
FREEMOVE
A field of free movement and expression for everyone.
A sports and dance program that helps children rediscover the joy of moving freely.
KIDSCENE
Preserving children’s moments for the future.
An audiovisual archiving project capturing children’s growth and creativity through events and daily life,
shared among families, supporters, and communities.
KIDSTAGE
Every child is the main character.
Music, dance, art, and performance events that nurture confidence and connection-regardless of age or background.
MOTHEbase
A safe “base” for mothers and families.
A welfare and co-learning project that prevents isolation in parenting and offers a space of emotional support for parents and children.
We plan to utilize children’s experiences and recorded memories as a foundation for revitalizing local communities,
and to develop international exchange projects in collaboration with schools, organizations, and companies both in Japan and abroad.
From local to global, we aim to create a chain of smiles born from children’s creativity and courage.
