KGaAは、Rheinmetall AG（FWB: RHM）よりパワーシステム事業（以下「Power Systems」）を取得する最終契約を締結しました。Power Systemsは、自動車および産業分野の顧客向けにモビリティソリューションを提供するグローバル事業を展開し、独立系アフターマーケットにおいても強固なポジションを有しています。Pierburg、Kolbenschmidt、Motorserviceといった確立されたブランドのもと、グローバルで約6,250名の従業員を擁し、年間売上高は約20億ユーロを計上しています。
Rheinmetallは、戦略的なポートフォリオの見直しを経て、複数の有力投資家が参加する競争入札プロセスを実施しました。その結果、AEQUITAは、自動車分野における深い知見、カーブアウト案件での実績、ならびにPower Systemsに対する明確なインダストリアル戦略が評価され、最適なパートナーとして選定されました。
本取引は、主要関係者から広く支持を得ており、AEQUITAの長期的な投資方針および事業運営力に対する高い信頼が寄せられています。

Munich, 3 June 2026 - AEQUITA SE & Co. KGaA, a global industrial holding headquartered in Munich, Germany, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Division Power Systems (“Power Systems”) from Rheinmetall AG (FWB: RHM). Power Systems is a global manufacturer of mobility solutions for automotive and industrial customers, with a significant presence in the independent aftermarket. Operating under the renowned Pierburg, Kolbenschmidt, and Motorservice brands, the business generates annual revenues of approximately EUR 2 billion with around 6,250 employees across its global footprint.
Following a strategic portfolio review, Rheinmetall launched a competitive sale process involving a distinguished group of investors. AEQUITA emerged as the preferred partner based on its deep automotive expertise, proven carve-out capabilities, and compelling industrial vision for Power Systems. The transaction received broad support from key stakeholders, reflecting confidence in AEQUITA's long-term approach and operational capabilities.
Armin Papperger, CEO of Rheinmetall AG, commented: “Our stated objective was to place our civilian business operations in capable hands. We have found an excellent buyer in AEQUITA. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.
