本連携の背景
現在、日本の「SSBJ（※1）」基準の策定をはじめ、国内外でサステナビリティ情報の開示義務化や規制対応への動きが急速に進んでいます。その中で、「ISSB（※2）」をはじめとする国際基準に整合し、環境情報開示のグローバルスタンダードとなっている「CDP」への対応は、企業にとって、法定開示を見据えた体制構築の観点でも重要度が高まっています。
しかしながら、非財務データは、社内の様々な部署に点在している特性から収集・管理・活用が難しく、膨大な質問への回答対応は、企業の実務担当者にとって大きな負担となっています。
シェルパでは、これまでも、利用企業のサステナビリティ開示における実務負荷を軽減するため、主要な外部評価機関や開示プラットフォームとのシステム連携を積極的に推進し、データ収集から回答提出までを一気通貫で可能にする機能強化を重ねてきました。今回の「CDP」とのシステム連携は、こうしたデータ連携高度化の一環として実現したものです。
なお、シェルパは、2025年に「CDP」より気候変動・森林・土地・水領域における「CDPシルバー認定ソリューションプロバイダー（カテゴリ―：ソフトウェア）」に認定されています（※3）。
本連携について
今回のシステム連携が実現したことで、従来発生していた「SmartESG」から「CDP」のオンライン回答システム（ORS）への手作業による回答データの移し替え（転記）ステップが不要となります。これにより、担当者の入力工数を大幅に削減するだけでなく、転記ミスや先祖返りといったヒューマンエラーのリスクを低減します。
また、過去の回答経緯の参照からデータ収集、回答案作成、提出までの一連のプロセスを「SmartESG」のシステム基盤上で一元管理できるため、データの変更履歴や回答根拠の追跡可能性が確保され、企業のサステナビリティ開示における内部統制の強化と、データの信頼性向上に寄与します。
さらに、「SmartESG Answer Ease（※4）」を併用することで、社内で収集したデータを活用し、AIによる回答素案の作成から、それに対する根拠情報の確認、回答ドラフトの精緻化・最終化まで効率的に実施できます。その後、システム連携による「CDP」への回答情報の直接提出まで、一気通貫で対応することが可能です。
なお、シェルパでは、サステナビリティエキスパートによる「CDP」回答支援および評価改善に向けたコンサルティングサービスも提供しています（※5）。コンサルタントによる伴走支援を掛け合わせることで、より実効性の高いサステナビリティ経営の推進と開示対応を総合的にサポートします。

SmartESG Launches System Integration with Environmental Disclosure Platform CDP: Enabling End-to-End Processes from Internal Data Collection to Response Submission

TOKYO, Jul 13, 2026- Cierpa & Company, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Jun Sugimoto; hereinafter Cierpa) announced that it has launched a system integration between the system of CDP, an international non-profit organization operating a global environmental disclosure system, and SmartESG, a cloud-based sustainability disclosure support platform.
Background of the Integration
Currently, moves toward mandatory disclosure of sustainability information and regulatory compliance are accelerating rapidly both in Japan and overseas, driven by initiatives such as the development of standards by the Sustainability Standards Board of Japan (SSBJ (*1)). Under these circumstances, responding to CDP, which aligns with international standards such as those from the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB (*2)) and has become the global standard for environmental disclosure, is becoming increasingly important for companies from the perspective of establishing structures for future statutory disclosures.
However, non-financial data is inherently scattered across various internal departments, making it difficult to collect, manage, and utilize. Consequently, responding to extensive questionnaires poses a significant burden on corporate sustainability practitioners.
To alleviate the practical workload associated with corporate sustainability disclosure, Cierpa has been actively promoting system integrations with major external rating agencies and disclosure platforms, continuously enhancing functionalities to enable end-to-end processes from data collection to response submission. This system integration with CDP has been realized as part of these ongoing efforts to advance data integration.
In 2025, Cierpa was recognized by CDP as a CDP Silver Accredited Solutions Provider (Category: Software) in the areas of Climate Change, Forests, and Water in Japan (*3).
About the Integration
With the implementation of this system integration, the conventional step of manually transferring (transcribing) response data from SmartESG to CDP’s Online Response System (ORS) is no longer required. This not only significantly reduces the number of man-hours required for data entry by practitioners but also mitigates the risk of human error, such as transcription mistakes and data reversion.
Furthermore, the entire series of processes, from referencing historical response data to data collection, response draft creation, and submission, can be centrally managed on the SmartESG system platform. This ensures the traceability of data changes and response evidence, contributing to enhanced internal controls and improved data reliability in corporate sustainability disclosures.
Cierpa will continue to improve convenience for its users and expand functionalities in response to market needs, thereby enhancing its reliability and effectiveness as a sustainability data platform that contributes to corporate sustainability management.
